Plumeria rubra (Flor de Sacuanjoche)

The tree with fragrant flowers (especially at night) is symbol of love, immortality or devotion. In Europe it is known as Frangipani, named by the Italian Marquis Frangipani who invented a perfume based on the tropical flower scent at 16th century. In Nicaragua it is the national flowers and printed on the 100 Cordoba bill.
